we probably already have an answer.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend enquiring at least 4–6 weeks before your intended travel date for most tours. For peak season (December–March) or larger groups, 3 months ahead gives us the most flexibility to secure the best accommodation and guides.
Can you customise a tour around my dates and preferences?
Absolutely — and this is exactly how we prefer to work. Our tours are starting points, not fixed packages. Tell us how many days you have, what interests you, and any constraints, and we’ll design something around you specifically.
Do your tour prices include flights?
No — international flights are not included in our tour prices. We handle everything from the moment you arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport to the moment we drop you back. We can recommend flight options if helpful.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
Cancellations made 30+ days before departure receive a full refund minus a small administrative fee. Within 30 days, partial refunds apply depending on how much has been pre-booked. We’ll always be transparent and fair — please ask us for full details when you enquire.
Is Sri Lanka safe to travel in?
Sri Lanka is generally a very safe destination for tourists. We stay up to date with travel advisories and will always brief you on anything relevant before you travel. Our team is available throughout your trip if any situation arises.
Do I need a visa for Sri Lanka?
Most nationalities require an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) to visit Sri Lanka, which can be obtained online before departure. We’ll provide full guidance on visa requirements when you book and help ensure everything is in order before you travel.
Do you arrange travel insurance?
Travel insurance is not included in our packages but is strongly recommended. We advise all our clients to arrange comprehensive travel insurance covering health, cancellation, and personal belongings before departure.
Are you an SLTDA registered tour operator?
Yes — Ceylon Experience Holidays (Pvt) Ltd. is a registered travel company operating in Sri Lanka. We work exclusively with licensed local guides, accommodation providers, and transport partners who meet our standards of service and responsibility.
