After breakfast, we'll head to the historic city of Kandy. En route, we'll stop at the Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site that boasts over 150 statues and murals depicting the life of Buddha. In Kandy, we'll visit the Temple of the Tooth, one of the most sacred places of worship for Buddhists, which houses the tooth relic of the Buddha. In the evening, we'll enjoy a cultural show featuring traditional Kandyan dances and music.

Today we'll travel to the picturesque town of Nuwara Eliya, known as Sri Lanka's "Little England" due to its colonial architecture and cool climate. We'll visit a tea plantation and factory to learn about the tea-making process and sample some of the finest Ceylon tea. Later in the day, we'll explore the town and visit the scenic Lake Gregory, surrounded by lush green hills.

After breakfast, we'll journey to Ella, a charming hill country town surrounded by verdant tea plantations and mountains. On the way, we'll stop at the Rawana Waterfall, which according to legend, is linked to the epic Indian epic Ramayana. In Ella, we'll hike to Little Adam's Peak for stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys. Later in the day, we'll visit the famous Nine Arch Bridge, a marvel of engineering that spans a deep gorge.

Today, we'll leave the hill country and head to the sunny beaches of Bentota. En route, we'll stop at the Udawalawe National Park, one of Sri Lanka's best-known wildlife reserves, to spot wild elephants, buffalo, crocodiles and a variety of birds. In Bentota, we'll check into our hotel and relax on the beach or enjoy some water sports.
