How far ahead should I book?
Four to six weeks before you travel works for most trips. For December to March, or for larger groups, three months ahead gives us the best choice of hotels and guides.
Can you build a tour around my dates and interests?
Yes, that's how we prefer to work. Our tours are starting points, not fixed packages. Tell us how many days you have and what you enjoy, and we'll design it around you.
Are flights included?
No. We take care of everything from the moment you land at Bandaranaike International Airport until we drop you back there.
What's your cancellation policy?
No charge 30 or more days before arrival (bank charges aside), 30% at 14–29 days, 75% at 7–13 days and 100% under 7 days. The full terms are on our Terms page.
Is Sri Lanka safe to visit?
Sri Lanka is a safe destination for travellers. We follow the latest travel advisories and brief you before you arrive on where to go, what to avoid and who to call, any time.
Do I need a visa?
Most nationalities need an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) before arrival. Check the official Sri Lanka ETA website for your nationality, and we're happy to help if you're unsure.
Do you arrange travel insurance?
Insurance isn't included, but we strongly recommend a policy that covers health, cancellation and belongings before you travel.
Who will I be travelling with?
Ceylon Experience Holidays (Pvt) Ltd (reg. PV00284679) is a Sri Lankan company. We work only with licensed local guides, hotels and transport partners who meet our standards.
